It has come to my attention that all of our family and friends like to see the pictures that I post of Dax so today I had a revelation and thought how nice it would be to keep you guys in the loop of our journey as new parents and how Dax develops. He is such a blessing and fills our days with so much happiness. I hope you enjoy the updates as much as his pix. I promise to try my best and keep the updates regular.
Dax will be 4 months old next week and has grown drastically since he was born on August 5th, 2010. The best thing is when he looks at us and smiles he is a very very happy baby and is silly too he gets into these moments during the day where he is chuckling and laughing with us and sometimes I dont' even know what we are laughing at. Needless to say that when we came home from the hospital with him we were scared to death of breaking him or doing something wrong. Ugh and when he cried it pierced our hearts and got worse if we didn't know what to do to help him stop crying.
We ended up getting into the swing of things after the first month of us not really sleeping and walking around like zombies. Now he is so good he sleeps through the night and we get to have our down time. You know I have to have him on a schedule and I stay true to it everyday and its really good for Dax he looks forward to our time together. What I do is around 8:00 pm I watch Backyardigans (his favorite show) with him and then at 8:30 he gets a warm bath, then a Dax massage and his bottle by 9:00/9:30 pm he is fast asleep!
We got to celebrate his first halloween and got him a dinosaur costume and named him Daxasaurus Dax! He looked so cute! We ended up going out to Central Park with his friend Ashton and daddy Al. We had such a great time walking around with them in their costumes! Wak and Al were proud daddies with their handsome babies. Ashton had an awesome costume he was a 3 eyed monster with a big belly! HA!
